Welcome to Heathcliff Cottage
A home away from home situated in a small Pendle village lying on the border between Lancashire and Yorkshire on the edge of beautiful Haworth Moor.
Offering accommodation for up to four guests this late nineteenth century stone-built traditional cottage benefits from gas central heating and double glazing, and provides off road parking for one vehicle at the front of the property and an enclosed garden to the rear.
As soon as you walk into the living room, with it's exposed beams and inglenook fireplace, you'll feel the cares and tension of the journey melt away. Kick off your shoes and relax. Unwind with a 'cuppa' and some delicious home baked cake whilst you decide which of the area's many attractions you are going to sample first.
Surrounded by open countryside, hills and woodland Heathcliff Cottage is a perfect base from which to explore miles of wonderful country walks right on the doorstep. Take a leisurely stroll across the fields to Wycoller Country Park or discover the local wildlife as you meander along the riverside to Ball Grove Nature Reserve. There is so much to discover here you'll be spoilt for choice.
The location of this attractive holiday cottage enables guests to explore the best that both Lancashire and Yorkshire have to offer. Pendle is a stunning area in it's own right but it is also surrounded by other beautiful places including the Yorkshire Dales and Haworth. So the choice is yours. You could lose yourself in the unspoilt beauty of the Dales or bring literature to life as you discover the heritage of the Bronte sisters in the wild, rugged moors around Haworth. Try listening to the landscape as it whispers the secrets of the Pendle Witches or feel the pulse beating at the heart of the Industrial Revolution.
Come and experience the warmth of a genuine Northern welcome as you wander the lanes of Lancashire where a rucksack is the only weight on your shoulders.
