Accommodation Details

The living room with its open plan stair-case and breakfast bar kitchen, is furnished to a high standard. Carpeted throughout, it has good seating with a burgundy leather suite, panelled beams and a cosy inglenook fireplace. The gas & coal stove give you all the advantages of a solid-fuel fire but none of the work.
The cottage has a television and video. The kitchen is fitted with full oven, microwave, washing -machine and iron, everything to make your holiday a home from home.

 

This late 19th century terraced cottage has recently been refurbished throughout with care taken to keep the comfortable, warmth of the original interior. It is situated at the Lancashire and Yorkshire border, on the edge of beautiful Haworth Moors through which the road leads to the village of Haworth and Bronte Country.

Surrounded by hills and woods, close by the river, the area has many attractions easily reached by car or on foot. The country park of Wycoller is a short walk away, as is the village of Trawden with it's craft workshops and cafes.
The cottage is set in a quiet lane, yet just off the main road, with ample parking facilities and open views all around. It has a well equipped kitchen, though there are many local pubs and restaurants which offer good food.

To the rear a large conservatory has been built and comfortably furnished with a wicker-work suite, matching coffee tables and dining suite.  Blinds at all windows let you take advantage of the summer sun, or ensure your privacy through the evenings.
The conservatory opens into a pleasant garden area, and is surrounded by open country.

The bedrooms, one double, one single (can be converted to a double bed if required), are bright and airy, with beamed ceilings and comfortable beds. All bedding is included.
The shower room is fitted with a power-shower and all the fittings are of the same high standard as the rest of the cottage.
